Well, I'm in a better position than I was. New York is less populated by vegetation than home was, and there are plenty of places out of the wind. I'll stay here for a while, probably.
I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary, though my dreams are getting longer and more vivid. I really should look into that. I still can't recognize that person's face, either...
Something to ponder, then. As if I needed more problems.
You should write your dreams down and post them. That way other runners can help you figure them out.
ReplyDeleteIt's always the same.
ReplyDeleteI'm standing in water up to my waist, and it extends to the horizon in all directions. There's trees growing in the water, all pines. There're Things in the trees, too, but they don't come in my line of sight and I can't move and have no inclination to chase them besides. And someone's behind me, just standing there. And I can tell- the way you sometimes do in dreams, without any evidence- that they're human. Or they were. But they're close enough to understand.
The person behind me grabs me around the waist. It's not personal at all, it's just grabbing my center of mass. And then the person behind me pulls me under the water. But then it's much deeper, like hundreds of feet or something, because there's a sense of vast space. And I struggle, even though I don't drown, but I can't get a good look at anything, like who the person is or what's wrong with the landscape (something else changes but I don't know what) and at some point I wake up.
...Sounds... vague.
ReplyDeleteI have some theories but nothing helpful. If anything changes, please post it.
